A perfect excuse for a day trip, Stoughton, WI is a dazzling small town with a great taste for the arts! While visiting, you can pop by gallery near and dear to my heart - Woodland Studios! I currently have several pieces on display there, yes, but there is a little bit of everything for someone. Every style and medium that will make your eye twinkle. Do yourself a favor and stop in then grab a nice beverage at the Viking Pub right next door. You won’t regret it!

Abigail Pixler is an artist from Northern Illinois. While she attained a BFA in Graphic Design, Abigail discovered a love for painting about 5 years ago. Her specialty and passion is found within portrait and human figure work, with a focus on the feminine. The peace, pleasure and joy found in beauty as a whole is what drives her work.

GAIL HAKES WEST?
Gail Hakes West is the pseudonym in which Abigail Pixler goes by when it comes to her music. She has played guitar since the age of 11 and fell in love with singing at a young age. Her musical stylings is folky and acoustic coupled with hopeless romantic undertones in much of what she writes.
